TRENT HILLS – The Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) Foundation is thrilled to announce its Catch the Ace progressive raffleis re-launching after the lifting of the most recent Stay-at-Home Order. After 20 weeks of draws the Foundation postponed the popular fundraising effort due to the COVID-19 Pandemicand Provincial Lockdown.
Week 21 Draw Tickets are now on sale at most partner retailers with the draw taking place on Thursday, June 24th at 6 p.m. The minimum Week 21 Progressive Jackpot is $29,589, but will likely be well over the $30,000 mark.
“Our pause back in March was the right thing to do due to the impact of the third wave of the pandemic,” said Brooke Allan, CMH Foundation Chair. “Although we were disappointed about the delay we are very excited about getting things back up and running. Interest in the Catch the Ace Raffle was increasing each week and we are sure the excitement in the community will return.”
Funds raised through the Catch the Ace Raffle will fund the purchase of new life-saving medical equipment and technology. Currently topping the hospital’s equipment wish list is a new Cardiac Telemetry Monitoring System and new Clinical Information System (CIS).
Weekly $5 tickets for the CMH Foundation’s Catch the Ace Raffle are now available at 26 retailers in the hospital’s service area, including Campbellford, Warkworth, Hastings, Norwood, Havelock, Springbrook, Stirling, Brighton and Roseneath. Tickets can also be purchased with VISA or Mastercard by calling the CMH Foundation office at 705-653-1140, ext. 2104.
