The City of Pembroke is holding a music trivia virtual fundraiser on June 18 at 7 p.m.
This game of trivia will pull music from the 1950s up to the 2010s and feature topics such as guess that tune and album covers. Teams of up to six people may register for the cost of $30. Registered teams will receive a code to the game and a link to a live stream via email on the morning of the event. Players on a team may play together from different households or play from one screen at home with family.
Half of the proceeds from the trivia will be donated to a local charity and the other half will be given to the winning team. In support of Indigenous History month, the proceeds from this trivia night will be presented to the Renfrew County and District Aboriginal Friendship Centre.
The City of Pembroke will also be partnering again with Little Things Canning Company. For this trivia event, participants are able to purchase Charcuterie Grazing Boxes. Players that would like to enjoy this treat while playing trivia should contact Pembroke’s recreation department by Wednesday, June 16. These delicious boxes contain meats, cheeses, veggies, a bit of fruit, trail mix, and something pickled, and something chocolate! The boxes are $10.95 each plus tax.
To register your team, inquire about online trivia, or order some Charcuterie Boxes, please contact the Recreation Department at 613-735-6821 ext. 1501 or email email@example.com.
